A resource management information system: map, live video, evidence management, plate recognition, reports and notifications in one browser window.
SmartMonitor is a resource management information system for online fleet management. We build and run the whole chain ourselves — from the SmartGuard or SmartCar unit in the vehicle to the server and the user’s screen.
In their SmartMonitor profile, users see their vehicles and the equipment fitted to them in a web browser. They can follow and manage them, process the data and generate a range of reports.
Everyday work
- Object list with statuses, search and sorting; clustering of objects on the map.
- Vehicle trail, quick charts and event history for any period.
- Follow up to 4 objects in a separate window, including Street View.
- Address search linked to the state address register; share a location by link.
- Geozones with entry and exit events.
- Remote commands: request position, switch the on-board computer on and off.
Administration
In the administration part (BackOffice), Inkomerc specialists and customer administrators manage customers and their units, users, roles and permissions, vehicles, devices and SIM cards, fuel cards, contracts and invoices. Device firmware can be updated remotely.
Availability
The interface has a built-in user manual. It runs in Chrome, Edge and Firefox and on mobile devices (Safari on iOS, Chrome on Android); an Android app delivers notifications.

How it works
- 1 SmartGuard / SmartCar The in-vehicle unit collects GPS, CAN bus, camera, RFID and sensor data.
- 2 Encrypted channel Data is sent over an encrypted protocol — not even the mobile operator can read it.
- 3 SmartMonitor server Storage, processing, reports, notifications and integrations with state systems.
- 4 Access points Dispatchers, management and customer users — in a browser, on mobile or via API.
Objects and map
Live position, vehicle trails, area search — which vehicles crossed a marked area; layers: speed cameras, traffic, administrative territories, violation heatmap.
Live video
Live streams from vehicle and body cameras, video requests from the on-board archive.
Evidence management
Video and violation library with an audit log and retention policies.
Plate recognition
Plate history, blacklist and instant alerts on wanted vehicles.
Reports
Trip sheet, mileage by day, speed violations and statistics, beacon usage, sensor status, fuel, temperature, driver trips — PDF and Excel.
Fuel
Fuel level sensors, refuel and drain events, fuel card transactions from suppliers.
Notifications
Email, SMS, push, Telegram and Signal — for the events that matter to each user.
Security
Roles and permissions, eParaksts sign-in, IP restrictions, tamper-evident audit log, GDPR compliance.
